Description
This a Dwarven version of the Ultma Online desktop.
Dwarf Desktop 1.2 is completely compatible with 2D-client
of the Ultima
Online: Age of Shadows.
You can also use it for the earlier version of this
game (for example: UO:Renaissance)
Installation
1. Make
a copy of your original verdata.mul and fonts.mul
files. You can find these files in your Ultima Online
folder. Make sure to keep these original files, so that
you could restore your default settings if needed.
2. Extract files from the archive file dwarf_desktop_v1.2.zip
into your Ultima Online folder. Click 'Yes' when
asked to overwrite previous files.
3. Run VerdataPatcher.exe.
UO:AoS installation instructions
1. Make a copy of your original verdata.mul
and fonts.mul files, if you can find these files
in your Ultima Online folder. Make sure you keep these
original files, so that you could restore your default
settings if needed (to return to your previous settings
just copy these backup files to their original folder).
2. Unpack the archived files into the Ultima
Online folder. Click 'Yes' when asked to overwrite
previous files.
3. Launch VerdataPatcher.exe to install
the patch.
If you see the message "Done" on the
screen, the patch is successfully installed.
If an error message "Error opening Verdata.mul"
appears (this means that there is no verdata.mul file
in your UO folder) then follow the instructions from
step 3.1:
3.1 Find the file - patchdata.mul (that you have
copied from the archive) in your Ultima Online folder.
Rename the file patchdata.mul to verdata.mul
Patch is installed! Enjoy the game! :)
Now, when you
already have verdata.mul, you can install all
other patches using the VerdataPatcher. And it
is not necessary to follow the instructions from
step 3.1
